At NKC Health, we’re here to support you in every step of your health journey. That includes giving you convenient, secure access to your medical information through our patient portal.
We designed this complimentary service just for you — strengthening communication with your care team and our hospital. Because your health and peace of mind matter to us.
Benefits
With our patient portal, you can easily:
- Check your lab results (usually available within a few days).
- Check your current medication, allergy and immunization history.
- View your personal health summary.
- See your personal health summary.
- Read radiology reports (posted within 24 hours of completion).
- Access parts of your medical record, including provider notes.
- See details of upcoming appointments and request changes when needed.
You can also:
- Share health information with your provider.
- Update your personal and insurance information (please allow up to three business days for updates to appear).
- Pay your bill online.
- Find a physician who's right for you.
- Pre-register for hospital visits.
- Sign up for wellness classes and take proactive steps in your health journey.
Need to make changes to your medical record, like updating your medication lists or preferred pharmacy? Simply message your provider (see instructions below) or talk with them at your next appointment.
We believe you should always have easy, secure access to your health information — whenever and wherever you need it. That’s why our patient portal is completely free and available to all patients.
There are two simple ways to sign up.
Online enrollment
If you're 18 or older, you can sign up online by visiting Self-Enrollment page and filling out a short form to verify your account. You will need one of the following:
- Your Medical Record Number (MRN), which you can find on your most recent discharge instructions
OR
- Your full email address (must match the one we have on file) Please note: Each adult family member (18+) must use a unique email address to create their own patient portal account.
Once your information is verified, we’ll send a confirmation email with everything you need to get started.
In person enrollment
If you’d prefer to sign up in person, we’d be happy to help you at any of the following NKC Health locations:
- Admitting, 1st Floor 2790.
Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-9 p.m. - Health Information Management, 1st Floor 2790.
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. - Main Lab, 2nd Floor 2800.
Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-6 p.m. - Any of our clinic locations.
Visit the front desk to ask for a portal enrollment invitation.
Please bring with you:
- A valid photo ID.
- An active email address (each adult needs their own unique email).
- A computer or device with internet access.
- A record of having been a patient at NKC Health.
Once you sign up, you’ll receive a welcome email with simple instructions to activate your account. Access online or follow the links in the email invitation.
After activating your account, we invite you to download the HealtheLife app to your smartphone. It’s a quick, convenient way to stay connected to your care, anytime, anywhere.
We want to make sure your medication needs are taken care of in the best way possible. Please use the following instructions for any questions or requests, but note that this option isn’t for medication refills. You can find the right way to request a refill below.
1. Open “My Messages” from the left-hand menu of your portal and select “Inbox.”
2. At the top of the page, click on “Send a message.”
3. If you are a patient proxy, you can choose to whom your message is sent. In the “To” field, begin typing your physician’s last name to find their contact info. In the “Subject” field, select the appropriate subject line from the list. For general questions, select “Patient Portal Message.

1. On the left of your portal, click on “My Health Record” and select “My Medications.”
2. This will take you to your personal medications page, where you’ll see a list of current prescriptions. At the top, select “Renew.”
3. You'll be guided to the “Prescription Renewal” page. From there, fill out the online form and submit your request.

If you received your COVID-19 vaccine at NKC Health or through Operation Safe, a record of your vaccination is available in your patient portal account. While this isn’t a replacement for your official vaccine card, it’s a helpful and accessible copy of your vaccination record.
Here's how to access
1. Log in to the NKC Health patient portal.
2. Select Record on the left.
3. Click COVID Center to see your vaccination information.
4. From there, you can print your record or scan the QR code to add it to your SMART Health Cards in Apple Wallet.
If you don’t have a patient portal account yet, don’t worry. You’re welcome to create one at any time. We’re here to make it easy for you to stay informed and connected to your care.
Additional help
If you choose not to create a portal account or you received your vaccination at another location in Missouri, you can still easily request your immunization record through the ShowMeVax from Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services. Simply complete this form and email it to ImmunizationRecordRequests@health.mo.gov or fax it to (573) 526-0238.
